| You may have heard the old cliché, “Rome wasn’t built in a day.” If the ancient Romans had owned a fleet of Village Builders, the challenge of building the city in a very short time would have been more imaginable. |

| The Village Builder™ IMPACT 2001 SOIL BLOCK MACHINE (SBM) employs the age-old technology of using native soils to build homes and other types of structures, and combines it with the sophistication and acceleration of modern technology. The result is one of the most efficient and productive methods of construction available in today’s expanding demand for inexpensive and environmentally safe dwellings. The Village Builder™ is the modern-day answer for providing a means of significantly enhancing the centuries-old process of making soil blocks by hand or by other methods which are slow, crude, and cumbersome. The Village Builder™ is versatile, very affordable, cost effective to operate, and is easily maintained by a single operator. It is very light and can be hauled with a farm tractor or almost any other type of vehicle with a ball hitch. Once on site, the machine is easily maneuvered by manpower into the various production locations. Quite simply, The Village Builder™ dramatically increases the speed and quality with which soil blocks can be made in the areas of the world where adobe style construction is a viable option. |

| THE MACHINE. The Village Builder™ is, by far, the most advanced and reliable soil block machine in any adobe style construction market. Engineering quality and rugged design have transformed The Village Builder™ into one of the most dependable and versatile machines of its kind. Its rugged wheeled machine design allows it to be easily transported to almost any part of the world and can immediately be put into block production with little or no field preparation. Only a few people are required to effectively operate the machine and produce blocks that can quickly be placed in the walls of a house. |

THE BLOCKS. “ From production to construction with- out interruption!™” Blocks produced by The Village Builder™ can be varied in thickness and can be used for construction as soon as they are made. A single Village Builder™ Soil Block Machine can produce blocks at a sustained rate of approximately 180 blocks per hour. The basic building block produced by The Village Builder™ (depending on soil type) has an average weight of about 8 pounds (3.6 kilograms), and is capable of producing most of the walls of a small house in just a few days. The photo on the left shows a wall with a window that was produced with painted and unpainted blocks from The Village Buil- der™. | BLOCK-SEAL™. Blocks that are produced by The Village Builder ™ are significantly more dense and stronger than those that were produced by the centuries-old method of making blocks by hand. And now, The Village Builder™ blocks can be made even stronger and more weather resistant by simply adding Block-Seal™ to the soil while making the blocks with The Village Builder.™ Shown in this photo, the block on the left was treated with Block- Seal, and on the right, only water was used in the manufac- turing of the block. The blocks were then left in the open air and, after a single rainstorm, the untreated block had been severely damaged. Block-Seal™ is an excellent addi- tive for all types of soil used in the manufacturing of blocks with The Village Builder.™ |
